Shannon Battisson – Architect and Director

 

Shannon is an experienced architect, with an avid devotion to environmental design. She is fascinated with how it relates to the design and construction of our built environment. With over fourteen years of experience, her projects span from local Canberra projects, across Australia to Hong Kong and the USA.

After graduating from the University of New South Wales, she returned to Canberra to work for a small design and construction company with a strong environmental focus. It was here where her passion was cultivated.

Currently, Shannon performs roles as a juror for the Australian Institute of Architects ACT Chapter Awards, and the Housing Institute of Australia Southern Region and National Awards. She presents workshops on Environmental Design and Construction for the ACT Government’s ACTSmart program. She was also recently nominated by her peers as Chairperson for the Australian Institute of Architects ACT Chapter Sustainability Committee and also the 2018 Australian Institute of Architects ACT Chapter Emerging architect of the year.

Sarah Leeson – Interior Designer and Director

 

Sarah is an experienced interior designer with over ten years of experience in lead role in a multitude of projects across Australia. She implements all stages of design and project delivery in both commercial and residential sectors. Her expertise extends from brief creation, existing workplace assessment to producing workplace design guidelines.

Sarah’s projects include educational institutions (ANU, Burgmann Anglican School), commercial office fit out (Civil Aviation and Safety Authority,
Ray White, ADF Remuneration Tribunal), retail/hospitality touts (Canberra Centre, Gungahlin Marketplace), and high-end residential designs.

Chris Clode – Project Architect

 

Chris is a project architect with extensive skills in design documentation, construction documentation, environmental design initiatives and government planning approvals. With a broad base of knowledge, he has experience with environmentally responsive building techniques, commercial, residential, industrial and corporate tout projects.

He offers a range of advanced skills in CAD documentation, including 3D rendering and animation, ensuring successful transformation of projects from design inception through to construction.

Katie Keith – Senior Interior Designer

 
 

Katie is an interior designer with over 10 years of industry experience, working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. With a focus on residential renovations and extensions, preliminary space planning to final furniture selection, her work ranges from high to low end budgets. Katie is particularly interested in environmental design and its relationship with contemporary living.

Tarryn Mann – Interior Designer

 

Our most recent member of the team, Tarryn, is gaining experience across a wide range of projects. She has a special interest in residential interior design and environmentally responsible building design.

Tarryn began with a student placement and her enthusiasm and talent were quickly noticed. We were pleased to support her final year of study where she graduated in 2016 with an Advanced Diploma of Interior Design from CIT and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of Canberra.
