Embodying the Ray White brand, values and goals of the company, the revitalised Belconnen branch is now a pinnacle example of the modern workplace.

As designers, we can’t help but light up with excitement when companies are eager to create a bold and fun space to work and thrive in. Looking for another refreshed multi-functional office space, the Ray White Group returned to The Mill to complete their fourth fit-out – this time for their Belconnen branch.

With an expanding team and fast-paced working culture, Ray White wanted a mix of open-plan workstations, offices, collaboration zones, meeting rooms and areas to move. Yet as a thriving real estate agency, Ray White also needed an internal auction room and an impressive space for functions and events.

Thinking about the workings of their team, we established key elements to enable a productive work environment. With on-the-go conversations a regular activity, a bright yellow racetrack curves around the office, allowing staff to make use of the multiple meeting rooms, private phone pods, or the spacious board room featuring glass walls.

With an abundance of space for focused activity, the Ray White team can also hit pause and make use of the open-plan kitchen zone, ping pong table or functional gym space.

Bringing the outdoors in, a collection of indoor pergolas, lush gardens and flowing water features form the perfect space to break away and create room for thoughtful conversations. Flourishing with greenery, the pebble gardens bring a beautiful environmental contrast to the bold palette of Ray White’s iconic black and yellow colours. To add, we introduced soft timber flooring and furnishings to create the perfect combination of light and dark.
