OUR PROCESS
The Introduction Meeting
Here at The Mill, we believe that enjoying an easy relationship with your architect is essential for success. Not every architect is suited to every project. This introductory meeting will allow you to talk through your ideas, your brief and your budget. You can select from two options:
1. Our Office
This is a one-hour consultation in our Deakin Studio. We will discuss your project, offering advice on design possibilities and restraints. You will also see how we work so you can decide whether we are compatible. We encourage you to bring along drawings and information for your home and block. This meeting is free of both charge and obligation.
2. On Site
This is a one-hour assessment at your home. We will discuss your requirements and provide advice on design possibilities and constraints. We will also give you a feel for how our team works and what it would be like to work with us on delivering your project. This meeting has a fee payable at the time of booking.
Fee Proposal
After our initial meeting, we will prepare a proposal for you. It will include a breakdown of the design services we offer with their associated fees, as well as some past projects to help you get a feel for us as a team.
